OUR STORY

Our passion for creating unique and healthy living spaces was born from necessity.

THE BACKSTORY

Two people review blueprints, discussing plans

For many years Jen just never felt right, and doctors didn't have answers.

After battling fatigue and the sudden onset of allergies and sensitivities to countless foods, cosmetics, fabrics and household cleaning products, Jen decided to seek help. It was Jen's environmental doctor who was finally able to identify the root of the problem—mold. Residues from mold were present in Jen's lab test, indicating toxic levels of mold exposure in her home.

Jen learned her body's overactive immune responses were sensitivities to molds, formaldehyde, pesticides, and many other elements that surround us on a daily basis. An air quality test of her Dallas apartment led to the discovery of a severe black mold problem (stachybotrys) that had existed behind the walls for years.

Unhealthy living and working environments can trigger the onset of allergies, sensitivities and a whole host of nervous system and immune problems. Jen realized that moving into a healthy living environment free from chemicals, mold and allergens was key to restoring her health.

The problem was this did not exist, so Jen set out to build one of the first truly chemical-free healthy homes using main-stream, modern day building materials in 2012. Armed with an arsenal of knowledge in home building, design and healthy living practices, Jen has made it her mission to build better lives through healthy home building.

we're the experts in sustainable & non-toxic home building

At JS2 Partners Healthy Home Builders, we recognized the need for a fundamental change in the way homes are built. So we're doing something about it!

We're not just sustainable, we're focused on wellness—which is different.

Our 20 years of residential and commercial building experience and healthy living expertise is what sets the JS2 team apart.

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT

Cozy bed with sunlit pillows and shadows on the wall

Our homes are designed around comfort + wellness first.

People spend 90% of their time indoors, which is why our construction philosophy is centered around crafting a home that provides comfort & wellness.

We only use thoughtfully selected, healthier materials in your home.

Here you won't find common building materials such as mdf or solvent coatings in our homes. JS2 Partners uses hardwoods, zero VOC paint, natural materials, and non toxic building materials throughout every home building project.

We're all about  transparency and collaboration with our homeowners.

We run projects like a true partnership—clear communication, realistic expectations, and decisions made with you (not for you). From early planning through the final walkthrough, our team keeps the process organized, documented, and detail-driven.
